Review by hotel critic
Stepping into Sweet House Self Check-In 24H, I found a sanctuary of simplicity and comfort. The ease of the self check-in process complemented the immaculately clean room, reflecting efficient housekeeping practices. As an Italian culinary critic, I appreciate the proximity to Como and Spina Verde park, offering opportunities to immerse oneself in nature and local flavors. The room, complete with a separate shower/WC room, boasted tasteful décor and a snug bed. While the pillows leaned towards the bulky side, the overall ambiance was ideal for a short stay. The tea-making facilities added a homely touch, perfect for unwinding in the lovely courtyard surrounded by garden furniture. For travelers seeking a balance between value and luxury, Sweet House delivers on both fronts. Though slightly distant from Como, the nearby dining options cater to various tastes. The absence of on-site dining and entertainment might not suit all preferences, yet the competitive pricing and comfortable amenities make it a prudent choice for budget-conscious guests seeking a tranquil retreat.
